PROJECTS TO HELP YOU CELEBRATE THE 4TH OF JULY
Here are some projects to help you celebrate the 4th of July!
? Send a care package or letter to a soldier overseas. Go to www.anysoldier.com
? Make some cheerful cards and deliver them to a veterans hospital. Spend some time visiting with the residents there.
? Create a book bag project containing a biography about your favorite American hero. Donate the book bag to a local school, daycare, or shelter.
? Visit a daycare, nursing home or shelter and lead a Sing-Along of popular patriotic and American folk songs.
? Host a July 4th picnic for new immigrants.
? Create a skit or puppet show about a patriotic theme. Put on your show for a local nursing home, daycare or shelter.
? Bake some flag cookies. Donate them with a special thank you to police, firefighters and paramedics in your area.
? Host an American Trivia Contest. Collect pledges for participation. Donate the money to a local charity.
