Security Guard Give Keys To Punks Caught Stealing
Kattie is a 27 year old security guard for a large firm. She is familiar with reporting procedures and the layout of her workplace. She patrols the hallways looking for suspicious activity. Her job is to detect and report unusual activity. Her job does not include engaging the perpetrator.
She does not carry a gun. She simply reports and the authorities investigate. Her training was less intense than police training. It mainly involved surveillance and reporting. She enjoyed the work because it was a chance to meet new people and help others in the process.
She has been involved in a variety of cases and even called as a witness when criminals were prosecuted. There was one case involving two teenagers who were caught shoplifting from the firms gift shop. Kattie had spotted the 2 taking property and reported it to the police. The two were arrested.
They vowed to get even with Kattie. She had heard this sort of thing before from people who are caught committing crimes. None of it ever materialized and she went on about her work. One night she was finishing up a shift and getting ready to go home, when a strange thing happened. When she was walking through the parking lot to her vehicle. She heard what sounded like 2 people talking.
Then all of a sudden the voices stopped. She approached her vehicle. She noticed a small car sitting and running with no driver. She thought this was very suspicious, so she stopped and looked around. As she turned, someone grabbed her. They placed what felt like a knife in her back. He said I told you, we were going to get even. At that moment, she knew who it was. It was one of the shoplifting teenagers.
The other one got out of the small car and approached her. He slapped her and yelled some profanity. She knew she was in trouble. She began thinking of ways to escape this situation. She remembered she still had her car keys in her hands. She knew any move she made would be risky.
She also knew that doing nothing would be more risky. While the one punk was talking and making threats she maneuvered a key so that the tip was between her thumb and fore finger. When the punk was close enough she stuck the key directly in his eye.
The other punk sliced her on the arm with the knife. She grabbed her arm and ran back toward the firm. The punks were so startled that they ran in the opposite direction. Kattie met some of her coworkers inside the firm and they rushed her to the hospital.
She reported the incident to the police and told them exactly who had attacked her. They patrolled the local area until they saw the two. They were arrested and charged with attempted murder. Kattie is still in security work and hopes to become a police officer in the near future.
