Clean up Air in Whole House with Air Purifiers

When we are talking about air purifiers we generally talk about purifiers which are placed somewhere inside a room, and is employed in cleaning the air of that particular room. But investing on such purifiers discount the fact that the air inside our house, if polluted, will be polluted all over and will not be restricted to a single room. So just having clean air in one room with rest of the rooms remaining as they are doesn't really help that much. Instead if you get yourself a whole house air purifier you will be able to breathe in fresh air wherever you go inside your house. So you wouldn't have to spend you holidays curled up in the couch of your living room just to breathe fresh air. This has been a real leap in terms of air purifier technology and before you select one for your home, make sure you have a proper understanding of the capabilities and specifications of the same.
There are over 50 million Americans who suffer from some form of allergy. And there are close to 20 million Americans who have problems of asthma. If you or anyone from your family have such ailments then a whole house air purifier should be the best option to go for. It is not possible that someone spends his entire day in a single room. He will have to move around. In such an event if only one room has air purifier then the it will hardly help to alleviate the problem.
But for you to install a whole house air purifier you need to have a central heating or cooling system the ducts of which are used by the purifier to bring in impure air and to release clean and pure air. Such air purifiers need to be of higher capacity and will also draw in more electricity. In a day the purifier will be able to exchange the air of the whole house for a maximum of two times. This definitely wouldn't clean the air as a standalone room air purifier would do, but overall the effect would be more positive as the entire house will have healthier air.
If you are staying in a single floor then you can also get yourself a floor air purifier. This doesn't need you to have a central cooling or heating system and works similar to room air purifiers, only that they are of higher capacity.
