In addition to this page, please read our Terms of Use page about submitting articles. These are general guidelines you should follow if you wish to have your article accepted. We receive many article submissions and do our best to review the articles promptly. Because of this, many articles may be rejected if they seem to violate any of these guidelines.
1. Article must be of interest to a general reader. The article should not just be a press release or promotional advertisement for a product.
2. Limit the number of links in your article. If we see an article with 5-10 links in the general article, it's an instant reject. Most articles we accept just have one or two links in the author's byline.
3. Use proper grammar and spacing. We don't accept articles that appear to have been written by a 6 year-old.
4. If you write a very good article, we may "feature" it. This means it will be listed at or near the top of the page for its selected category. Your article has a much higher chance of being reprinted if it's listed near the top of a page.
5. Use the correct category. If you submit in the wrong category, we will not place it in the correct category for you. We will just reject the article.
6. Article needs to be an appropriate length. It should be between 350 to 1200 words. Don't expect us to accept 100 word articles or expect us to read 3000 word articles.
7. Don't just copy/paste a bunch of random articles and throw in links to your website at the end.
8. Don't submit multiple articles on the same subject. No one wants 20 articles on the "joys of training a Basset Hound" or whatever your site is about. If we see that you are repeatedly submitting articles with the same or similar content, we will just start instantly rejecting your articles.
