Searching for Universities on the Web

I am about to start searching for universities and I'm eager. It has been my goal since I was a child, and now I can finally do it. Of course, anybody can get into a state university, so I do not wish to go there. I need a better and more competitive college.
I want to study English Literature. Reading the classics is my favorite. I must find a college that has an excellent English department. I am aware that some colleges are tailored for one subject more than another. I am trying to find a college with English high on the priority list.
A great I can find the university that is perfect for me by employing all the resources available.
I found some really interesting things on the Internet. It can be a nasty ordeal to search for a college on the Internet. There are a lot of sites to choose from. I guess it is because everybody is on the web these days. I did find some really excellent information that I was searching for as I was comparing colleges. I was able to narrow my search down to universities with competent English departments and found sites that listed each of the schools' specialties.
By comparing universities on the web, I found that there are many universities all over the the country that have good programs, so now I simply have to search for the climate that is perfect.
Will I feel at home? What will the climate be like? Will the campus be clean and good for socializing? After finding colleges with excellent English programs, I may now think about my other needs. I can find what I am looking for by just going on the web.
After looking once again, I discovered the best site. The site asked me numerous questions about my preferences. It posed questions both conventional and not conventional. I was impressed. It allowed me to pick out states, so I picked the ones with warmer climates. I could select academic preferences. I was then provided with a list of colleges to choose from after I picked what I wished for. I swear, the Internet never ceases to amaze me.
I will not be in the university I'm in now if it were not for the Internet college search. I found all that I required - great weather, a great English program, lots of social events, and a nice environment. Some things may not often look as good as they do in computers, but you'll find a fabulous college experience with a little luck.
